The American Society for Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR) membership is a diverse collection of individuals from different countries, backgrounds, genders, racial, ethnic and cultural groups, who comprise a host of life experiences, values, and beliefs. As a member of ASBMR, individuals commit to advancing the bone, mineral, and musculoskeletal field through integrity, trust and excellence in all aspects of their scientific careers.
Discrimination, racism, harassment (in any form), and bullying create a hostile environment that marginalizes individuals, communities, and thereby reduces the quality, integrity, and advancement of science. Discrimination, racism and harassment damages productivity, career advancement, and prevents the healthy exchange of ideas.
