About The Event
This webinar, hosted by Dr. Ken White, Ph.D., will describe recent findings regarding the regulation and actions of FGF23 and its co-receptor Klotho, as well as new discoveries in several rare and common diseases associated with mis-regulation of FGF23. Dr. White will also review current treatments based upon the known physiology of FGF23, as well as emerging areas for future research directions.
Objectives:
1. Describe recent findings of mechanisms governing FGF23 production in bone and actions on the kidney.
2. Describe the genetic origins and pathophysiology underlying rare and common diseases associated with FGF23.
3. Discuss emerging therapies for these disorders and potential research areas for impact.
